WebAppyPie (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides ShotNest: Screenshot Organizer (“ShotNest” or the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how ShotNest accesses and uses information when you use the App.
1. Information Accessed by ShotNest
Depending on your device, Android version, permissions, and selected features, ShotNest may access:
- Screenshot images and related file information required to detect and organize screenshots.
- Text recognized inside screenshots for search and categorization.
- Locally stored categories, collections, favorites, folder rules, search indexes, preferences, and Premium status.
- The success or failure of device authentication when you use supported biometric protection. ShotNest does not receive or store your fingerprint, face image, or biometric template.
- Purchase and entitlement status provided by Google Play when you purchase or restore Lifetime Premium.
ShotNest does not require account registration.
2. How Information Is Used
The accessed information is used to:
- Detect and organize screenshots.
- Perform OCR, intelligent categorization, search indexing, and duplicate or cleanup analysis.
- Provide collections, smart folders, favorites, privacy locks, and preferences.
- Verify and restore Premium access.
- Maintain the App’s functionality and security.
3. On-Device Screenshot Processing
ShotNest is designed to process screenshot images, OCR text, categorization, duplicate analysis, and search indexes on the user’s device. ShotNest does not upload screenshot images or recognized screenshot text to WebAppyPie servers for AI processing.
Google Play purchases, purchase restoration, rating, and external support pages may require Google Play services or an internet connection. “On-device” refers to screenshot processing and organization, not every App function.
4. Data Collection and Sharing
ShotNest does not sell personal information and does not use screenshot content for advertising.
When you voluntarily open the WebAppyPie support page or email us, you decide what information to submit. We use submitted information to respond to and manage your request.
Google may process purchase, account, device, and service-related information when you use Google Play Billing, in-app review, or other Google Play services. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy. WebAppyPie does not receive your complete payment-card details.
This policy must be updated before release if the App adds analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cloud processing, or any SDK that collects or transmits additional information.
5. Image Permission
ShotNest may request image access because automatic discovery and organization of screenshots is a core App function. It should request only the minimum permission required and does not require video access when processing screenshots only.
If image permission is denied or revoked, automatic discovery may be limited. Where supported, users may select screenshots manually through the Android Photo Picker.
Users can review or revoke permissions through Android Settings. ShotNest does not delete an original screenshot without a user-confirmed action.
6. PIN and Biometric Protection
PIN and lock settings are stored locally using appropriate platform security controls. Biometric verification is performed by Android. WebAppyPie does not receive or store biometric templates.
7. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
ShotNest stores its indexes, categories, preferences, lock settings, and related data locally for as long as required to provide the selected features.
Users can remove locally stored ShotNest data using an available reset option, by clearing the App’s storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the App. This may remove organization data and settings but does not automatically delete original screenshots stored separately in the device’s photo library.
Screenshots deleted through ShotNest are removed only after confirmation and may remain temporarily in the device’s trash according to Android or gallery behavior.
Support information voluntarily submitted to WebAppyPie may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations. Users may request deletion of eligible support information by contacting us.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to ShotNest’s local-first design. However, no device or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
ShotNest is not designed to knowingly collect children’s personal information through an account or WebAppyPie server. If you believe a child submitted personal information through our support service, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
10. External Services
ShotNest may open Google Play or WebAppyPie pages in an external application. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable law, or our data practices change. We will update the effective or last-updated date and provide additional notice where required.
